Exercises (21-5) question number (1) I have chosen  this answer (Because she grew up during the Depression, so my grandmother can't tolerate throwing food away) my answer was wrong. The correct answer was ( Because she grew up during the Depression, my grandmother can't tolerate throwing food away.) In the question (2) my answer was still wrong . I have chosen (Because tree roots need oxygen, so it is wise not to pack the soil too tightly after planting.) the correct answer was (Tree roots need oxygen, so it is wise not to pack the soil too tightly after planting).The question number (3) I have chosen (I know how to add songs to a playlist, but I don't know how to organize several playlists)  my  answer was correct  because A word group that begins with Although cannot be linked to a word group that begins with but. The  question number (4) I have chosen  (Before she added the eggs, Nashwa mixed thoroughly the dry ingredients).My answer was wrong because  The adverb thoroughly should not be placed between the verb, mixed, and its object, the dry ingredients. It can be placed either before the verb (thoroughly mixed) or at the end of the sentence (. . . Nashwa mixed the dry ingredients thoroughly).. This was the correct answer  (Before she added the eggs, Nashwa thoroughly mixed the dry ingredients)
